The programming on HUTV reflects a wide range of health-related topics from baby care for new mothers to heart health and diabetes information for patients. Our waiting room screens provide customized programming to each location. We provide live local weather, news, entertainment, and health information and much more. Local staff can also post information through text or graphics.

We produce most of the programs on our bedside channels and waiting room screens. We can tailor any program for the environment that it plays in. If the program requires specific information or instructions relating to a health clinic or facility, we can include the information in the program giving patients the information they need to know about your facility.

Baby's First Bath
A step-by-step guide to bathing your newborn for the first time. This program tells new mothers what to expect when they bathe their baby for the first time and methods for making the process fun for mom and baby. (This program is customized for each hospital location)
The Value of Immunization
Through interviews with staff & patients this video illustrates the importance of having your child immunized.

Active Play
This video provides examples and suggestions for actively playing with your child both indoors and outside.

Growing Together
An overview of the services offered by the Growing Together Project, including developmental check-ups for toddlers and follow-up services for children who have a potential area of need.
Safer Together
Awarded BEST VIDEO by the Canadian Patient Safety Institute. The video is a short overview of safety concerns and recommendations while in a hospital facility in Alberta.
Talk Box
Talk Box and Talking is Key videos were produced by HUTV to encourage early interaction through speaking with their children. Talk Box is an Alberta initiative geared to help parents with simple speech excercises.
Finding Balance
Finding Balance: Preventing Seniors Falls is a nine-minute video aimed at seniors in Alberta.  The video discusses the risks seniors face from falling and demonstrates services and strategies available to them to stay safe. 
With our busy schedules it sometimes seems impossible to still prepare a healthy meal. This series of seven programs looks at the preparation of quick and healthy meals.
